Victim seriously injured after targeted early morning shooting downtown Chilliwack
Police on scene at Princess and Williams Friday morning, officers going door-to-door looking for witnesses
Chilliwack RCMP officers were knocking on doors on Princess Avenue and Williams Street Friday (March 21, 2025) morning looking to speak to witnesses after an early morning.
Mounties say a male suffering from serious injuries was transported to hospital after the incident shortly before 1 a.m.
Police tape surrounded one specific property Friday, a dilapidated single family house with a unique monkey puzzle tree on the front lawn on the northwest corner of the intersection, 46197 Princess Ave.
Chilliwack RCMP general duty and police dog services responded to the report of shots fired just before 1 a.m. and initial indications suggested it was a targeted incident.
